Hey!

My name is Austin and I have been a licensed hairstylist since 2021. Since then, I have quickly grown and created a positive name for myself that I am so proud of. I have traveled all over the country attending multiple continued education classes such as a week long cutting intensive at the Redken Exchange located in New York City and an Extension Certification at JZ Styles Salon in Utah. But it doesn’t stop there because I am constantly finding new education and always learning something new.

Behind the chair, I love all things hair. Almost all of my current clients know how particular I am when it comes to their hair and I won’t stop until it’s perfect. With diagnosed OCD, I often make the joke that I won’t sleep at night if even just one strand of hair is out of place. Please know that I will do everything to make you look and feel amazing.

When i’m not in the salon, i’m either at home hanging out with my husband and our dogs or i’m on the west side of the state visiting with friends and family in Grand Rapids!

Some fun facts about me

• I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2020 with my Bachelors Degree.

• I worked at Cedar Point for two summers in college and did my college internship at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas

• I was a studio and competitive dancer for 10 years growing up and cheered in college.

• Growing up, I spent my summers at a summer camp in Grand Rapids spending just about every day doing water sports! I ended up becoming Head Boat Driver and Water Sports Instructor at that same camp in college!
